The Journey Begins: Embracing Maternity Leave
In March, our world was turned upside down in the best possible way. Finding out I was pregnant was the most exciting, unexpected news we could’ve ever received. This blessing brought so much joy, and with it, a shift in the plans I had for 2024. While I’d mapped out some major career moves, the Lord had a different path in mind for our family this year. As I prepare for this next season, my heart is both full and a little bittersweet, knowing I’ll soon be stepping away from the salon and all of you—my incredible clients.
To My Amazing Clients: Thank You for Standing by Me
To all my guests who have shared this journey with me over the last nine months, thank you for your endless patience and understanding. You’ve been there through all the rescheduling, the days when I wasn’t feeling my best, and the moments I just needed to vent. Truly, I love each of you so much, and it’s because of each one of you that my work doesn’t feel like “work” at all. I’m blessed to spend my days with the most amazing people—my girlies—who make every appointment feel like catching up with friends.
A New Season Begins, But I’m Only a Text Away
As much as I’ll miss seeing each of you daily, I’m confident that you’ll be in the best hands while I’m away. Even though I won’t be at The Light Collective every day, I’m always just a text away if you need anything! I’m excited for this new chapter, and I can’t wait to come back in early 2025 to share it all with you. I already know that coming back to the salon will be a reunion filled with so much love and joy.
