A New Chapter for The Light Collective
There are moments in life when you have to pause, take a deep breath, and really let it sink in that something you once prayed for is now real. This is one of those moments for us. We are beyond excited to finally welcome you into our new space—one that’s larger, updated, and filled with so much heart. What makes it even sweeter is that this next chapter isn’t one I’m walking into alone. I get to share it with a dear friend, and together we’re creating something truly special here in San Antonio.
From a Small Studio to a Big God Dream
Just a little over two years ago, The Light Collective was born inside a small studio with a big dream behind it. I opened those doors with hope, faith, and a vision of one day having my own storefront—a space that felt intentional, elevated, and full of light. I had no idea it would happen this quickly, or that the journey would lead me to partner with someone I love and trust so deeply, Ashley Ortega.
Now that day is here. Standing in this new space feels surreal in the best way. If you’ve been with me since the beginning—through the early mornings, long days, growth pains, and breakthroughs—you know just how meaningful this moment is. This move represents answered prayers, hard work, and the beauty of trusting God’s timing.
Our New Space: Designed for Beauty, Comfort, and Connection
Our new home allows The Light Collective to truly grow into what it was always meant to be. The salon now features four styling stations, two shampoo bowls, and a snack and coffee bar designed to make your time here feel relaxed and taken care of. And of course, the vibes are fun, elevated, and welcoming—just the way we like it.
But beyond having more room and more chairs for future stylists, my heart for this space runs much deeper. From the very beginning, my prayer has been that The Light Collective would be more than a salon. I want it to be a place where women feel genuinely loved. A space where community is built, where conversations are real, where faith can be shared openly, and where women uplift one another. This is a place to create memories, find encouragement, and experience the love of Christ in a natural, welcoming way.
What’s Next: Events, Community, and a Warm Welcome
One of the things I’m most excited about is all that’s still to come. This new space allows us to host events, gather together, and create moments that go far beyond the chair. Friendships will be formed here. Memories will be made here. And I truly believe this is just the beginning.
